Campus Grand Parc: A unique ecosystem of private and public players

Campus Grand Parc was created in January 2022 with the aim of bringing together those involved in cancer innovation (researchers, clinicians, start-ups, entrepreneurs, investors, patients and institutions) in a location contributory to exchanges and accelerating the transformation of science into value for patients. The aim is to facilitate the development of new cancer treatments, medical devices and diagnostics in France by supporting commercial projects at different levels of maturity and connecting them with the experts, platforms and resources they need.

Elise joined Kadans as a commercial manager to assist in the expansion of Kadans in France.Prior to joining Kadans, Elise worked for the real estate company Bouygues Immobilier, in charge of the development of mixed used projects in the Paris Area. Previously, Elise worked as an urban planner in Brussels and has been involved with both public and private sectors complex projects.She holds a master’s degree in Urban Planning and uses this approach of the territory in every project to ensure the connection with the French life science ecosystem.Do you have any questions? The heart of the Paris Region healthcare research ecosystem

Campus Grand Parc is located at the heart of the Paris Region healthcare research ecosystem. The cluster is home to 15 academic centres that focus on disruptive technologies. It also offers inside access to talent and experts in the field. The cluster was founded by the Paris Saclay University, the Institut Polytechnique of Paris, Gustave Roussy, Sanofi and Inserm. Today, Campus Grand Parc has 80 members and partners.

The cluster has the world’s greatest concentration, both quantitative and qualitative, of immunotherapy, microbiome, autophagy and precision medicine research. The largest clinical trials centre in the world, Gustave Roussy, is also located nearby.

Campus Grand Parc offers easy access to Paris and Orly via new subway lines. Because of these connections, you can reach several highly-ranked Parisian universities, like Paris Saclay University and PSL, respectively ranked first and second in Europe according to the Shanghai Ranking 2023.

The cluster is also home to 1,200 organisations active in life science research, including promising start-ups, scale-ups and SMEs, as well as larger pharmaceutical organisations.
